About Us

Our story begins in 1988 with the start-up of Glencar, a unique family run business, which is now in its second generation.

Our forward looking team is led by myself, Jason McCann. Having grown up alongside the family business, my background in Business, Engineering, and IT, coupled with a passion for design, drew me back in 2004. Glencar has given me the opportunity to invest my skills in a worthwhile and meaningful business.

We have a simple and passionate belief that individuals, families and service providers deserve to have access to the very best therapeutic products which enhance lives.

It is a privilege to see inspirational moments which are made possible through the dedication of our team. Witnessing a young child being able to sit at the family table for the first time, seeing first steps taken with the aid of a gait trainer or a child riding a bike unassisted drives what we do. However, without the special relationships we build with Therapists, Parents, Teachers, Carers and Children we would not be part of these significant occasions.

The Glencar story began with the belief that the very best therapy equipment should be available to all who need it. This ethos continues to be at the heart of our daily endeavours and keeps us focused on searching for new specialised products to support independent living for all. Our mission will always be to ‘change people’s lives’.
